Default mustang gt?

Didn't really know where to post this. What kind of quarter mile times can an auto GT get? My friend insists that it's high 14's, but I thought it was low 14's? Is there a link to somewhere that can prove it?

14.3.

Heard this from a big bracket racer at the track one night. I raced him, and it was almost 14.3. Something like 14.31 or so.

What kind of times do some of the older (fox body and mid 90's) GTs (auto and manual) run?

High 14's (manual) to Low 15's (auto). Stock.

Infinite's pretty much dead on about the 99+ GT's....

I took my totally stock 01 GT through the traps at 13.72@102. For what it's worth.

Bone stock. 3 weeks old. A friend actually offered me his slicks but I declined, figured I'd break something. Leaving the line at 4000.

Hmmmm.....

Scan your timeslip and post it on here...

Five speed, I assume?

On street tires that is a little unbelieveable, in my opinion...Slicks would be a different story...Plus, you said you left at 4,000...On street tires you would get alot of wheel spin...What was your 60 ft time? What was your R/T? What gear were you in going through the traps? What was your 1/8' time?

Sorry for all of the questions...Just curious...I have owned and been around Mustangs for years...I know the the newer Mustangs are a little quicker stock, but your times seem to be a little abnormal...Who knows, you could have gotten a "freak" from Ford...They have been know to do that in the past...

Thanks!
