A 335i pulled only half a car from a dig to 110KM/H when i raced one a while back - they aren't known as torque monsters

2012???? that's the new f30 3 series, it's no longer got twin turbos. but with a single twin scroll turbo straight six with the same displacement as the previous e90 335i. i'm sure he didn't floor his car all the way and was just toying around. if you say it was a 2012 his car was still in the break in period probably.

Joey just a quick note not trying to bash..

a stock s2000 with greddy kid and work emotions.. think about how much weight you've added to your car, Work EMO CR Kai was my first set of wheels afterall..

a mildly tuned s2000 in my case was a 2600lb, intake/tp/exhaust with AP2 transmission.
i really didn't have problems with 335i's as long as i was in VTEC range.

I've owned both cars. My 2006 AP2 was lightly modded with a CAI, Header, and test-pipe. My 335xi was a stock 6AT (aka the slowest model). The 335 would just murder my AP2 from any speed.

My E46 M3 barely squeaked past 335's N/A (now supercharged) and I walked all over AP2s.

Coming from a Turbo S2000 to my now tuned 135I I can attest they are surprisingly fast, especially modded. High 12's with just a Cobb tune.
