MY01 vs bolt ons gt mustang vs talon at 18psi
i was crusing on a local road last night which appeared to have a ton of action going on...there must have been a few club meets, which included some rustangs, camaros and lightnings...first race i got was against a talon with a small 16g turbo and bolt ons.. he was also running at 18 psi...first run we went from a roll, 3 beeps and he took me from the line but once i hit 2nd i pulled 2 cars on him...
i ran him again from a light and i figured awd vs rwd, he was definitaly going to take me off the line...i launched at 6000rpm and he only pulled about a fender on me till the top of second, where i pulled about a car on him...it probably was one of the best launches ive had with the car
2nd run was against a fully modded mustang gt with basically every bolt on you could do and a crazy loud, slp loud mouth exhaust...went from a 1st gear roll and i wasnt high enough in the rpms so he took me right off the bat and continued to pull 2-3 cars on me...
we ran again and i launched a bit higher this time from the roll and we pulled even till i shifted into third and again he pulled two cars on me...i was very impressed with the car..im pretty sure he had gears too.
ps my car only has a k&n typhoon intake and a t1r 63mm exhaust
system

good runs. i bet the GT had 3.93's in it. i am going to get flamed for this but.....GT dont respond well to mods(I/H/E). i have raced I/H/E GT's and pulled them ever so slightly.

So you pulled 2 cars on a bolton, 16G powered DSM with just I/E?
This place is better that ClubRSX

18PSI ON THE STOCK TURBO ISNT GOING TO MAKE MUCH MORE POWER.

How do you know the Talon is AWD ? It could be a FWD. And a small 16g turbo on a turbo DSM can make decent amount of HP. My guess is that guy can't drive or the car wasn't tune right.

OOPS I DIDNT SEE THE 16G PART. DISREGARD MY COMMENT THEN, SORRY. I FIGURED 3.93 BECUASE ITS A VERY COMMON V8 GEAR COMBO. SORRY FOR BEING SO GROSSLY INCORRECT.
