On the way to work today I got behind an EVO w/ CF trunk, exhaust and Im quite sure he had some other things as I saw 3 gauges on his A-pillar. Anyways, I was unable to line up with him but we did play a bit of chase. I am pacing him for a mile or so when he drops gear and floors it and I do the same. We did it 2x each time with him getting the jump since he was out front but after I would drop it in 3rd gear (from 65'ish mph) and I would stop his pull. I wish I could have lined up with him and give it a go. Im happy my car still has kick after 145k miles on her!

Yea, Im pretty sure iit was an EVO 8 and he definitely wasnt stock... I know he had an exhaust at the least.

 

Damn, I wish I could find an Evo 8 around here. All I ever see are those blasted evo 9's. lol.
