You need a tune for all your mods to make the most of it. AP1/AP2 all the same with little difference IMO. People say AP2 is better, but there aren't any AP2 running 7s/8s/9s in the 1/4. ALL AP1s. AP2 has that corny wanna be metal interior look and the ricey combat rear bumper that should have came with a combat wing too. hahaha... Only thing good from a AP2 is the glass rear window. =)

At the point where any s2000 is running sub 10 second 1/4m passes, it's probably changed so much drivetrain stuff that it doesn't matter whether it's an ap1/ap2 or not.. Neither car's drivetrain is going to last long running at that level to begin with..

 

s2000's are awesome in general. No need to fight over which lolly tastes sweeter girls.

Before you go & get all high and mighty, its an AP2 swap with AP1 cam shaft. So I aint tryin to be like your combat kit, half steel interior AP2. =D
