Default MY04 vs. S4

Ok so this is the model previous to the brand new one(new one is a beast).

I left class and headed on my way to make a left on Nordhoff to get to the freeway. Making a left in front of me was a beautiful asian girl in a blue S4. We stopped at the light(her in front), and once we started moving she made her left and went into the middle lane(three lane street), and i foolowed in first and went into the left lane. I take the car up to about 6.5K then shift to second not expected what she does next. There is a car in front of her so I hear her get on it, and jump to the right lane. I was shocked and I get on it in second close to 6K. She pulls a bit ahead(about 1 car in front). Once I hit 6K it looks like her pull stops. I shift to third(hoping my clutch wouldn't slip because it's fried), and get grip and I'm catching up. Shift to fourth(grip!!!!), and I begin to pass her. 'm about half a car ahead when I shift to fifth and I have np grip what so ever. Car revs to redline and I'm not moving so I decided to get off. she does the same.

After that it looked like she wanted to get next to me, but she was making the wrong lane changes and couldn't catch up .

Oh and now I can't get into VTEC at all because the clutch always slips(but don't worry soon to install act clutch kit over the weekedn .

Hope you enjoyed the story.

Peace

almost 14K. Ya I know it's a bit early, but so many people ahev fried m clutch, it was bound to happen. Plus I have a toda flywheel, and toda clutch disk. Never replaced the PP so that caused the early wear also.

It's a 14.0 car. Not in the girls hands. How much did you pull? And was this on the highway or not yet?

could have sworn they hit high 13's? haha bu i always said the older one's were slow, plus the turboes suk. No wonder the new one's are NA.

Anyway it wasn't a highway run, if it was then she really would have gotten burned. Basically she got the jump on me and was about 1 car ahead when I got on it. I pulled back and got about half car/ to a car ahead of her before getting into fifth.

Thats not exactly true. My first car was an a4 and I had lots of experience with that car. For about $1k I have seen them get gains of 100 horse power. The car is very de-tuned stock. But it is a twin turbo 2.7L v6. It's got a ton of potential

I don't doubt it. Potential is defenitly there. I've seen a couple well modded s4's run at the track and hit 12's. I was refering to there stock set-ups. If i'm not mistaken they get full at about 4K, but then boos drops at around 4.5-5K. But like any turbo car, these bastards can be made fast too.
