MY04 vs. WRX

MY04 vs. WRX
Heading towards the highway after my morning class. I get ined up next to a silver wrx at the light. He had wheels, and a small dual tip exhaust from what I could see. I saw him edge forward a bit once the other lights went yellow. I knew what he was going to do so I thought i'd have fun with him.
Light went green and we both just rolled off full throttle. Immedietly jumped ahead(awd advantage my ass) and shifted to second at 8k about half-1 car ahead. Still on it and leaving him I stuck my hand up(top was down) and started to wave goodbye. Shifted to third and continued to wave...then decided to back off. Guy stayed back for a little bit, but then decided to pass me. He had a little smirk on his face. Gave him a peace sign and made my way to the highway.
No idea if he was the turbo model or not, but it wouldn't have mattered.
It's also amazing how much power is lost through the use of a silencer. Top end with my silencer on the car feels like it would if you were to be bogging at lower rpm.
On the highway I ran into a WS6, but I had my top down still so didn't want to attempt. Although the way he was following my lane changes looked like he would have gone for it. dam maybe next time.

There is no non turbo WRX. The AWD "advantage" is only from a launch
