MY05 vs. focus, crossfire, LT1 vette.
The SRT-6 is a fast 2 seat coupe, it is very relevant! It is as relevant as a 350Z, Mustang GT, RX8, etc. All of which I test drove before deciding on the S2k.
Name another slightly used car, 1 or 2 year old car, with less than 20k miles and with a factory warranty that is as fast and can be had with for as little money. I found a few SRT-6s that were only a year old and had less then 10k miles for under $24k.
Oh yeah, getting more boost out of that engine is pretty easy, all you need is a SC pulley to get a cheap, easy and safe 30+ HP.
Obviously if you think it is ugly you wouldn't consider it but if you don't mind the looks you would be a fool not to. My concerns were never the looks, I like the uniqueness. I was more concerned with cost of ownership. My previous car was a Mercedes, built in Germany just like the SRT-6 and I still have a bad taste in my mouth dealing with MB service. my assumptions my be off but it was enough to sway me away from the SRT-6.
