I always thought they were better from a roll than a dig. Those aren't torquey engines like say a LS1 and they rely on the VTEC pull on the topend for their power.
+1 according to the slips I found above.

The NSX is a MUCH better roll racer than trap. I have driven my friends 05 a few times (pretty hard too) and it is much better from a roll. It will do most of its damage on the twisties (the handling is insane!) and can easily be beaten by a "mildly" boosted car in a trap. Its VTEC pulls pretty strong (stronger than the S2k)..but they do have 2 more cylinders...lol. When he gets the comptech supercharger on it I will let you know how it feels.

Depends on your definition, what does it weigh with gas?

A C6 will own the NSX 6 ways from sunday in every category but looks and rarity. Might pull .01 or .02 less on the skidpad or something.

PS, someone told me NSX's gain hp as they get more miles on them.

Well, I found this interesting too! This is a 118K mile dyno on a 2000 6-speed WS6 (normally a 295-320whp car when "new)

NA1's(91-95)----13.7-14.1's@100-103

NA2(96-05)----12.7-13.3@107-113

the NA2's are very underrated, while the older NA1s are about as fast a stock s2k, but do respond to mods VERY well. I/H/E 35whp

I guess for what they payed and I payed I dont have to hang my head TOO! much if an NA2 beats me. Solid performance and great looks, I saw the red NSX again today. I think it is NA1 because once I talked to a guy in a red one and he said 91 or 92 IIRC. I doubt there are THAT! many NSX's rolling around here. I will say this, when he left the gas station that was the shittiest sounding car I have ever heard. I did not like it AT ALL! Basically it sounded like an M3 with no nuts (rattly) and weak.

I am not hating b/c "its gotta have 8 cyl to sound good". Thats BS. I like how the S and teh 350Z sound, even heard a Z last night that impressed me with it's tone. This NSX just sounded like shit to me and it was in good shape so I must assume NSX's (AP1's at least) just sound like crap. I was very unimpressed. HOWEVER! It did LOOK like sex
