Well, this is pretty lame and I wish it had been better but...

1 lane road and the S2K turned from a stop sign right after me, I went ahead and shifted into 2nd and waited until he got on my bumper (well, 20' off) and nailed it in 2nd. He stuck like glue until about 4K rpm and then he feel back about 1-2 cars by my 5500 in 2nd (maybe 70mph?).

He pulled into the turn lane and I rolled down the window, gave props, asked about it. he said he was APII and that was his 1st gear. I smiled, said "nice" and went on my way.

I really wish I had a better run with it as that is pretty damn inconclusive except to say that in 2nd gear I can pull him in his 1st gear from a 15mph punch.

 

PS, he had a passenger but combined they couldn't have broken 200# by much at all if any. Skinny teenage preppy type.

 

He hit 70 at the top of first?

 

what color was the car? and yea 70 in third gear

 

he claimed he started in 1st. i started in 2nd and kept it there until 70ish. the car was silver.

 

damn even 1st @ 15 mph he is a sitting duck....

 

2nd at 15mph isnt great for me either, lol.

 

ever think of throwing it back into 1st? not that is sounds like you would of had to but it would have helped.

 

did he have rims or all stock? or even a hardtop?
