Steve, my 'lude will get the jump on my S off the line but after the S hits VTEC it's catching up. On the highway there's no contest. And my 'lude is faster than a stock one by a bit.

No no, "On the highway there's no contest" means the Prelude gets spanked.

I was trying to say the only place the Prelude could compete would be maybe 0-35mph.

Oh, ic. : When I had my Lude, I had somewhat a trouble launching it though. If launched hard, I'd sit there and spin (and even hop); if launched too low, I'd lose to everything else. I guess launching at 3500-4000 RPM was my best range in the Lude. I think the FWD is much harder to launch.

I'm still very confused of how an S with 4.77 gears could only pull a couple of carlengths on a very slightly modded Lude.

Well, tenblade isn't a very good driver


I think my Prelude is easier to launch than my S...it doesn't bog and it's easier to modulate if the wheels start spinning. JMO
