I never post kills so I figure I could post this... someone once said that an S2000 couldn't really get a good amount on a type R and that is untrue...
I own both. They are very close in terms of acceleration. A well tuned ITR with the mods you list will outrun the S2000. Stock vs stock the S2000 is quicker but only by a bit.

exactly!!! IF you're putting close to 3 cars on an ITR with ignition and I/H/E there's a serious problem with that ITR/driver or something else went haywire. Maybe you're judgement of car lengths is a tad off. Could it be closer to 1.5?

I was waiting for someone to say that. An ITR with I/H/E DEFINETLY should be able to outrun a stock S2K.

WOW!!!!!!!! I'm dumbfounded!! s2000 owners saying an ITR with i/h/e can beat/stay even to a STOCK s2000. You sure this isnt a joke? Oh i get it this s2000 was riding on 3 instead of 4 wheels right? anyhow i was dead even with an s2000 from a 40mph punch to 120 3 days ago, i wasnt going to post it here cuz i thought you guys would call BS all day long, the guy was a good friend of mines and driving skills dont apply when your on the highway. I have JUN header, comptech intake and highflow cat.

Hmmm...I ran a ITR with i/h/e. He took me by a half car on the launch (I bogged) and by the time we got to 100 I had him by about a car. The second race I didn't bog and had him by a car and a half by 100. This was back when I was stock. It definitely surprised me though.
