Thumbs up question!?

my friends been wanting to run me for quite a while, he used to have a turbo'd B 16 CRX running about 8-9 LB's from a T4 T3 turbo, and beat my friends 375HP camero. That, I think would have smoked me. However, he just purchased his 4th CRx that is running a D16 with, I think, a stock talon turbo running 9 Lbs of boost, and his car is pretty weight reduced. i have ridden in it, and it feels like it pulls harder then our cars, i was planning on running him tmr, do I have any chance of beating him? I have a stock S2.?

Well race him and find out. CRX's, Civic hatches etc can be pretty quick when turbo'd and gutted. I know a guy with a 92 hatch w/K20 and 50 shot running 11.6.

If he's your friend it will be a cool race, no hard feeling I assume, so just run him and see what happens.

I'd like to see the end result. I don't think he has the power you do, but he doesn't have the weight either.

turbo d in a crx?? should be good for high 13's or so....... im basing that off the fact that a turbod16 in a del sol is high 13's low 14's with that amount of boost.....

should be a good race let us know how it goes

ok i used to have a crx with a d16 vtec swap. as a matter of fact that was my first baby. all i gotta say is that the crx is going to need alot more than a turbo to hang. and u wouldnt believe what cars would hang with me. i wouldnt have been able to keep up with 160 hp si. if he has those turbos that they have been advertising on the magazines by edelbrock, they only put i believe is 178 whp. u will take it. You are going to kill.
