i have an 08, i can tell you that with that vsa system turned on, the acceleration totally
sucks. any slight detection in wheel spin, or difference in wheel speeds will cause the computer to cut throttle completely till traction is regained and or apply brakes to the
wheels that are losing traction to bring back all wheels to same speed.
a great designed system for safety on wet roads but. should never be used when racing. you are just wasting your time racing with the vsa on. i think that a my 08-09 should pull way harder and feel way stronger.
i have driven both ap1's , like th 9k redline but hate the lack of torque. also drove the 04-05 ap2's feel faster but not as fast as the 08-09 with traction control off. my 08 feels like it puts me in my seat more than older years. but may just be because a newer motor will always run that much stronger than an older motor with high mileage
