What Steve doesn't tell you is his experience is based on crap, pure crap. He bought the Lexus with a million miles on it, and who the hell knows what it went through: drug repo; severe abuse; etc. He had never mentioned this little fact, until I happened to read it on some other thread by accident. He bought the damned car at what--10 yrs old with a million miles on it? He has no damn ideas what that beat-up Lexus had gone through (probably to hell and back).
I purchased the car with 102,000 miles last year. The issues I have experienced pale in comparison to the usual problems, put simply if you spent some time on any lexus board you would see that the LS400's, despite their high quality ranking from JD Power are in fact prone to a multitude of little issues, most of them small, but none the less annoying. Instead you seem to get a kick out of insulting without intelligence, so be it.What Steve doesn't tell you is his experience is based on crap, pure crap. My brother has a 99 Z28 with t-tops. It is only summer driven and kept immaculate with only 70,000 miles.
It has more body flex than an 84 Vette convertible and has more squeaks and rattles than a stage coach. Since day one by the way!
Yes, the T-top cars flex a lot. I don't know of anyone with one as they were well aware of this and other downfalls to the chopped up roof.My brother has a 99 Z28 with t-tops. It is only summer driven and kept immaculate with only 70,000 miles.

Regarding his S2000, again it's based on pure crap. He claims to have rattles, etc., yet he's one of the very few on here with such problems.
I am happy for you. My rattles are not uncommon. If you took the time to search this site before you ran your mouth you would find this to be true.Regarding his S2000, again it's based on pure crap. He claims to have rattles, etc., yet he's one of the very few on here with such problems.

C'mon, Steve, stop talking out of your butt. You may be able to "fool" or "influence" others' points of view, but not with me, buddy. I know all too well what your "experiences" are based on.
I am not trying to "fool" or "influence" anyone, just sharing first hand experience. You on the other hand seem to make it a point of speaking first and researching later. I hope that others will realize your perspective is based on zero first hand experience and a tendency to run your mouth before the brain kicks in.C'mon, Steve, stop talking out of your butt. The LS1 is much faster, not just an advantage. However, imo, it's much an inferior car in other aspects.Originally posted by Moobhak
