Im not sure if the person who owns that S2k is on this board, but i raced him on US30 in Merrilville Indiana. It was a nice looknig s2k with some exhaust mod...not sure which. Anyways, i let him get the jump because i didnt think it was fair to launch on him since i have AWD. We were even in 1st. I pulled 3 cars in 2nd and about 2 cars in 3rd and shut down around 95. Im obviously not stock, i have a MBC at 15.5 also a Uppipe and Downpipe. Not really sure how fast i run the quarter but i imagine somewhere near 13.3-13.6 at around 100-102. Im thinking i trap atleast at 102 because i can keep up very well with stock LS1's on the highway. ANyways, not intending to hate or anything. But good race, and if the guy with the car sees this msg, PM me so we can meet up and race some more. BTW, i love the s2k's, very very sweet looking cars and fast too.

just to let you know, you're going to get bashed for claiming you beat and s2000. If you beat a S2k with something other than an S2k, they'll all call B/S because they think they're the fastest thing on the road. I have a BPU 1.8t GTI and i've posted about beating them, go read the posts, the same thing will happen to you. I even have video's of me beating them but it guess that's good enough. If you come on this board claiming you beat a S2000 you better have a Video and a notorized letter signed by you, the other guy and a bank teller stating you beat it, otherwise you're screwed nice kill though, i beleive it

 

Just to let you know, you will probably end up losing brain cells if you read too much answers like the post above mine....

Do you have any idea how much power you put down? A good friend of mine has a WRX (I love driving it...though not as much as my S ) and I'm trying to convince him to do some light mods to it.

Good kill, the cars are pretty close stock so I definitely believe that you can beat one pretty easy modded.

Oh btw...people running a similar setup like mine see around 230 whp. Which translates to about 280 hp or so at the crank. Not too shabby for 400$ in mods .

Sounds like you removed the upstream cat...do you know whether you'll still be able to pass emissions tests? (not necessarily in CA, but the other 49)
