I raced a 2000 Civic Si on Wednesday night! 
The Si had the following mods:
AEM Cold Air Intake
AEM Cam gears
AEM Pullies
DC Sport Header
Apexi Exhaust
Apexi VTEC controller (VTEC is set to engage at 5300RPM and at 45% throttle)
Fuel pressure regulator
CF Hood
It belongs to a friend of mine, so all was done in good fun.
My car is stock.
We raced twice, won both times (2nd time by 4 car lengths at least)

It was a nice Si though.

Off a rolling start, the amount the guy pulled on you was ok for that distance, he should have pulled about a car length more though but he didn't for various reasons...
From what I have seen at the track, average driven SIs do 15.4-15.5. There is a guy here who used to run 15.2s in stock form, he later got an AEM intake and some grippier tires, took out the back seat... He ended up running a 14.96xx.. That is almost as fast as it gets for SIs.
I had the opportunity to run him when he was still stock, not that there is a big difference..., I did a 13.9 on that run and I believe he did a 15.3. When I was at the 1/4 mile point, I looked in my side mirror and he occupied about 0.000001% of it... GET IT. It was about 10 car lengths... +or- a few feet
Seriously though, you shouldn't come on an s2k forum and talk this kind of talk, on the street anything is possible. As far as I know, all cars within 1 second of each other can even beat each other on the street...
This is why you hang with an s2k, and sometimes an s2k hangs with a C5. Anything is possible and the results must not be taken to mean much except that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE ON THE STREET.

All I said is that maybe this guy couldn't drive or the S2000 MAY not be as fast as you guys think.

Watch the video again, when we both went from the light, I wasn't racing. I was just going to turn around and run him from a roll again. You can clearly hear that we both weren't going at wide open throttle at that point.
You would make a horrible movie critic.
And I'm down for a race, but we would have to meet halfway. I can get that race on video again too, and we'll see if you did better than that guy. Also be ready to race some of the other cars in my crew... maybe a WRX or ProdSi's S4...or a lowly Integra GS that likes to go pshhhtt.... They all want a piece of the S2k. Hehe... So how about Deer Park Ave? That's where I go usually on weekends. I can't imagine that would be too far from you. Lemme know man.
