Nissan
For the love of God, please...no more 350Z vs. S2000 threads. At least THIS week. This place is starting to look like StangNet with the GT vs. S2000 weekly tirades.
I've seen some reported trap times for the Z less than 100 mph and 0-60 times in the high 5's but more importantly, such magazine racing needs to be banned from the net...automobiles this close will always come down to the driver's ability to maximize their platform; all other observations written as gospel should be printed and subsequently used as fishwrap.
It's nice to be excited about these newbie sporty offerings, but the Z shares more in common with the TT than it currently does with our convertible. Wait until the Nissan drop top comes out and then 3/4 of these threads will start to make sense.
It seems to be lost on Z fans that Nissan is actually BOASTING their 6-cylinder can keep pace with our 4? I think it's great they are so proud of that accomplishment, especially with 2 additional cylinders. Then again, the 'Stang boys are as well with four more.

Our title of standard bearer for high tech, afffordable, stylish import performance is still safe in my book.
