Default ran a e46

I was driving on the way to my friends house who has an e46 m3. We're just cruising along and we reach an empty street... So were next to each other he paces me a little i drop it into 2nd at 45 and i'm at a good spot and so we hit it about the same time with me hitting it maybe a half a second early. Went up to 105 with him pulling on me about 1 car. i'm stock by the way. Although he is an alright driver, i thought it wasn't his day but either way.. Good run for the s2k!

but just to let you know, people might call BS.

was it an SMG M3 or stick? impressive to keep up either way if your car's stock.

E46 M3 with 3.2L 343HP or 3.0L with 321HP?

Did he have his hand brake still on

From a stop, the S would not stand too much of a chance.

From a roll, I was surprised when I ran my friend's E46 M3. From about ~30mph roll, I punched it right before he did, and it stayed even till about 80-90mph (meaning, he was at my rear quarter panel and remained there). Then, ofcourse, he started pulling. So with a bit of a head start, I believe this story.

Good run.

It was the 3.2l 333 hp version that is in the United States.

I believe it - from a roll the M isn't "all that". Don't get me wrong, it is quick but it doesn't seem to pull as hard between 40 and 80 MPH. Below 40 and above 80 it is fun.
