S54 still pulls hard in 2nd. Depending on gear, rpm and so forth. 45 in 2nd is still strong, anything less you might as well start off at 15 mph in 1st from that roll on.

I played with an SMG with my stock 350z and it was a hell of a race! we probably shut it down at 115 or so with him about a car ahead, plus i had a passenger. So it is very possible.

I'm still trying to figure out why you called my post "wrong" - I simply said that the car doesn't seem to pull as hard between 40 and 80 as it does everywhere else.

I daily drive an E46 M3 by the way

Just saw that.

I misinterpretted what you said as far as the M3 isn't all that at 40 mph. Mine was modded, so then again my powerband was noticably stronger than stock.

I owned my 04 E46 M3 for 2 years. Getting a 06 RS4.

I know that fool. I'm giving you my past experience. My M3 is totalled. Here are pics prior to totalling it. I'm getting a RS4 now.

I installed the stage 4 and throttle bodies. Never did install my 3.91 differential if I did, it would've been game over for alot of cars.
