Ran into
well just the other night on saturday probably around 11 or so.. i was just getting on the 91 west when i saw an elise to the left of me... i caught up with the elise trying to get a run before my exit when all of a sudden... VROOOOM!!! ANOTHER ELISE!!! they were cruising together and i got to play with them a little bit.. when all three of us would punch it around the same time i noticed that none of us pulled away from each other... except for me inching up to them when i start from the back... we did it about maybe 5 times.. just quick 20 mile bursts from 60-80 and 80-100... All in all.. i guess the elises arent that much faster then us on the highway...
Pretty cool story. I have heard that the S is faster from a roll but the elise is wicked fast from a stop. From a stop they have the weight advantage but that does not help as much from a roll.
It must be nice to mess around with cars like that. Never had an oppurtunity to do that but I can just imagine. Around here I only saw one Elise and it was parked in a local diner parking lot. But I have to admit... they to me are sexy cars.
Happy to hear you had a good time and that the S2K could keep up with the exotics...

once i was driving my mr2 turbo on the twiesties on Sunset Blvd in city of Westwood (the street right in front of UCLA). it was very late at night so there was nobody there on the mountain roads except for me. well that is until i met a black elise. oh man, that thing just kept pulling away in the turns, it was absolutely insane to be able to hear his engine and see him going faster and faster in the turns. it was just an awesome experience. i can't believe how fast those things are in the twiesties. i mean i know they're ridiculous in the twiesties, but when i see one in person, esp. in a car behind it, it's just insane..
