Ran into
Nice run... The only elises I've run were when I was N/A. They seemed to have the advantage when it came to moderate traffic which required multiple downshifts. In a straight line it sounds about right.
Were they both "Elises" or was one an "EXIGE" The exige actually test slower at higher speeds due to the excessive down force.
I've been eyeballing the Lotus Elise for quite some time and only wish that the 240r Exige was a factory option. (240+hp supercharged) Only 50 were made. The aftermarket supercharger can be bought but from what I'm hearing on the Lotus boards, but Lotus will not release the ECU so it's a dead end.

Nice race, it'll be interesting to see what the results would be if you had gone over 100mph. Not trying to endanger anyone, just wondering. There's one Elise that I'd heard of here in Mn, haven't personally seen it but my bro raced it in his H22a1 lude and lost big time which is expected. Said the guy gave him 1.5 cars while on a roll and it pulled him about 2 cars then shut off, wish it was me racing it.
The only elise I've ever seen was at S-Fest in CT (Audi S car gtg). It stole the show until the 911 turbo shoed up.. and then the race prepped Audi Sport Quattro with clutch so stiff it would stall on flat ground
