"Most LS1's have almost 400 TQ @ the Crank..."

No, As I said before, they have 350 tq to the crank, untiul 2001 the corvette C5 gets 375 tq on the LS1. Now the LS6 on the other hand, does make 400 tq at the crank, and 405 hp.

A turbo S2k should be able to take a stock LS1 camaro/trans am, and possibly the corvette. BUT, it does not take much at all to gte massive power out of them, no F1 needed, just bolt ons to take a Turbo S2k. Now on the track is another story. Unless its a vette.

I believe the J-Body is the cavalier, and such. I could be wrong.

Why is it called the F-Body? Good question.

GM uses letters to determine the different chassis of the car

I was thinking F stood for French and J for Japanese.

Hehe, you are what we call a magazine racer...Let me get some facts straight for ya...Corvette and the F-bodys (LS1s) dyno about the same, usually the corvette being the one dynoing lower due to the IRS.

Ok, A different way of saying one thing I said before, about the vette having more hp to the crank then the F-bodys. I wanted to point out that it is not just that the camaro and trans am are underrated, as I did say before and you did not see.......... But the LS1 in the F-body is slightly detuned, which is why you see a bit more power from simple bolt on modifications, like I/H/E then you would see on a vette.

And again, no LS1 makes 400 TQ stock. That would be the LS6.
