Default Roadkilt Subie

So I'm driving home from work here in Beaverton and am waiting at a stoplight very close to the Nike campus. Lo and behold I see a blue 2004 WRX wagon coming faassst, he pulls up beside me and starts all manner of revving the piss out of his boxer. It sounded strong and I could hear some turbo whine in between the exhaust - not stock in any case. I'm still playing with my phone at the stoplight though and the spot we are at is not good for racing so I watch him launch hard and pulls fairly well. I pace him to some degree and figure if he was really "all-in" on that run then I'm sure I can pull on his crate. I follow him as he makes a right turn and now he's sitting at a red light. He is in the right lane but I pull up behind him even though the left lane is open, but I leave some space between us. I see him look in his mirror like "wtf are you scared to run me?" (actually have no idea what he was thinking but I'm going with that). No other cars around, so I bring the RPMs up and spin the Starspecs to get some heat in them. After he sees this he's holding his rpms up and getting ready to launch. I'm watching the cross-street light - it's green, then yellow - almost in slow motion - I bring my rpms up and pull off a perfect launch just as my light goes green. He gets a good launch but I'm sure he's surpised that I'm right on his ass and he gets very little hole shot on me. My shift light quickly flashes and I'm into second, the back end gets a little squirrely but the tires hook up and I'm already pulling on him. I have to move over to the left lane now and get straight before the shift to third. Now he looks over as my nose is at his door and has a look of sheer panic mixed with disbelief. I bounce off the rev limiter but manage to get third gear cleanly. The tires give a short chirp and now I'm pulling hard as I climb through third and the wrx seems to be falling flat. I've got a car length on him as his lane runs out and he has to get behind me now. I shut it down and give him some flashers, which gets him real excited from what I can see out the back. As soon as the road opens up he pulls next to me and says "let's go race for $1,000 right now!" I reply with "we just raced and you got smoked." He says "I'll waste your ass, let's go". This guy is a sore loser so I figure what he needs is some more flasher. Right at that point I happen to be at about 6k RPMs in second so I floor it and blast forward, then I pull over into his lane in front of him and give him some more flasher and give him some time to read the red "T" logo on the trunk. I make my right turn and he goes on his way, licking his wounds and pondering his failure.

I don't know how much power the subie tool had but I'm running a GT3076 with a sidewinder.
ps: I have nothing against subarus or any brand for that matter, as all cars are equally capable of containing ass clowns.

I do that sometimes as well, pull on him in my lane, and then get over in his lane. Its like sealing the deal and saying "I've got enough room to where Im comfortable getting over into your lane, thats how bad you lost" lol

Real cool, thanks.

And if I was racing a biker jerk I would have run him off the road

Don't get pissy with me just because you watched one too many street racing movies there bud. You seem to be taking that comment a little too personally, like you already realized before I said anything that only tools put their flashers on after a race, buy a Civic if you want to act like that. I think your post script note sums you up quite nicely.

Per your other comment, you'd have to catch me first, and if you're only putting a car length on a WRX, you're not going to.

Cutting someone off in a high speed game is putting allot of trust in their ability to drive and more importantly stop.
Especially someone you just beat, obviously you've got the better skillz and car?
I'm not bashing the street race, this is Street Encounters.
Some guys take it too far, then some take it even further.
I'd rather it be kept as safe as possible.
Just say'n
