RSX-S vs AP1
I pulled up to a red light in the center lane between a cop and a newer(no tear drops) Type-S with an exhust(other mods unknown) last night. Light turns green and we slowly take off while the cop takes off pretty quick (im not thinking much of it). Then the rsx starts jumping next to me tying to get me to race, while the cop is barely a half of a block in front of us. So i drop back about a car length and punch it. I do just enough to build some boost and i let off right beside his window so he can hear it blow off, and hope that will be the end of it. Just so happens that the cop misses the next red light and we catch it. So the guy looks over at me and the conversation goes like this.
Guy: what you got under that hood?
Me: Nothing... its all stock.
Guy: Stock huh, those gauges come stock too?
Me: You said under the hood. (during which my face looks like this)
Guys Girlfriend(yelling from the passenger seat): THAT THING IS NOT STOCK!
Me: (still)
Right after that the light turns green and we both slow roll out of it. Then i hear him stand down on it, so i punch it and he pulls about half a car until i hit boost. I rip through first and second, and i touch a little of third. By that time i had put 3 or 4 cars between us. We roll up to the next light and he just shakes his head and says stock huh? Im like yep, he turns off and i head home. Not a suprising outcome but I thought it was funny so i decided to share.
Cliff notes: Turbo S2k puts 4 lenths on a bolt-on RSX type-s from 20-70.

custom turbo. I had my Profec B off so I was only running 6psi when i we raced(about 300whp)
, and the big factor goes to......... Wheel spin.
Sorry I forgot to add that i spun through most of second gear. If you cant tell, my tires are almost completely slick on the inside. Im getting new rims and tires REALLY soon. Along with an alignment.
