Default RSX Type-S

Damn... wit four people in the car, I lost by about a bumper. I should have told them to get out. Oh well. We were like dead even from 1st until about mid 3rd. Then at the end of third he started to pull on me, we hit fourth and evened back up. Then he started to pull a little more and shut down. I shut down a second later at about 115 mph. It was my first encounter wit one of them. Im a bit impressed at my driving there tho, cuz they run a 14.8 and I run a 15.4. HeHe, impressed my friends tho!

How many people did the RSX Type S have in his/her car? That's impressive with 4 people in the car. Especially with a car with little torque.

Don't expect all RSX Type S's to run 14.8s.

Good run though...

I'm confused. You lost in a 99 Prelude?

the driver had a passenger.. My lude is a 99 base model. I must admit, the RSX S is quick next to mine. But dont expect that mofo to win next time!~

why is it that so many people think RSX Type S are slow? They have 200hp and can run 0-60 in 6.1 seconds and about 14.8 in the quarter. That is significantly slower than an S2k, but faster than any stock Prelude I know of.

True, but they weigh over 200lbs more. Probably not enough to make any noticeable difference. But what I'm trying to say is, why bash the RSX when it's just as fast, if not faster, as the ludes?

I ran all day today with a bunch of guys from the Del Val s2000 club through New Hope and surounding areas. Ask Reese or pas2k about the RSX Type-S...

I had a full tank of gas, a full trunk, and a heavy tool box on the passenger floorboard. They believed the same stuff that you guys are passing around as fact, but the truth of the matter is, my car held it's own with the s2000's... I'm not trying to tout my horn like I have some kind of Ferrari or something.. I'm just saying it like it is...
