RX-7's are not nearly as problematic as everyone believes. The connections are a B*TCH, and the engines can blow up, but that's why you go to a rotary specialist (Peter Farrell is good) and get one of their rx-7 engine's with 3mm seals ported and polished etc. for something like 6k installed and buy a 93 FD for about 5K with a blown engine. Working like new for about 11k, and infintely more reliable. While a PFS get the turbos ported and clipped. Everyone shoudl get one, I wish I had one.

'01 MR2 Spyder (and unlike other spyder owners I would never race an S2k until I get a turbo.)
BTW 94 RX-7 R2 0-60 4.9 skidpad .99g
5.5 is way off, touring were more like 5.3s, and the R versions were always right at 4.9-5, and had almost a G of lateral grip.
