Is your FD modded? Yeah a 95 RX7 is very rare. I love S2Ks and if I were to get any other car it would be that. Top down, butter-like shifter, nice handling, and incredible looks in any color. Only problem is they are like $30000 still and if you want to make them fast you'll really need to dump in the money. If you are sick of your RX7 then you need to mod it. If it is modded, mod it more. I know that 320 hp in a FD takes you 0-60 in 4.4 secs - almost a second over stock. My FD has a little over 350 rwhp and it is pretty scary. Both cars will get you looks, both cars are very powerful and handle incredible. I got my FD for $18000 3 years ago and put $12000 into it including a street-ported engine. So let's break it down:

$30000 S2K

pros: vert, sweet looks, handling, WARRANTY, new car, 6 speed
cons: lack of torque, very common

$18000 + $12000 in mods, body kit, rims, blah blah

pros: street dominator, very rare
cons: reliabilty - but if you have your engine built with all silicone seals and 2mm race Hurley apex seals - the reliability isn't a issue

It's all in whether you want a new car or not - I'd keep your FD - you'd probably regret selling it.

Xpander4 & WRS2k - they discontinued them in the US only 2001 is the last year they are making the MKIV in japan... they are getting the parts ready for the MKV Supra which will come out in 2003 or 4. as for giving you a laugh well i hope its entertaining when you pull up next tome and see nothing but what you belive to be supra tail lights off in the distance.. ohh but wait your probly too cool to race your 30,000 piece of what you believe the be "perfect machinery" granted they are nice cars but you definatly DO NOT get what you pay for. WIth an RX-7 YOU DO.... You DUMP 10k into your S2k and let him do the same.. who do you think is gonna win...
"Twisties": RX-7
0-60: RX-7
1/4 mile hahaha of course its the RX-7...
Get the point and yes the RX is much more rare then the S2k
the reason you think RX's and SUpras are outdated is because Mazda and Toyota Did all this about 11 years before honda even thought abou tanything more than a piece of sh*t 4 banger.. so you take it how you want (ALL FLAMES INTENDED)

KWIKRX7- you are correct in every way ....

I guess it all comes down to whether or not you would like a brand new car or not. The RX-7 is without a doubt probably the greatest import for the money that ever hit the U.S. as far as complete performance is concernedIt does nudge out the s2000 in almost every category stock for stock(except you may have a little more fun in the s2k driving with the top down). The question is: do you want the feeling of having a brand new set of wheels no one has gotten their paws on yet? It's a great feeling to get something brand new...a brand new untouched project to start on making the car the best street car you can afford. If you don't crave that brand new car smell, then just stick with the RX7.

hey man i never said i got mine for 50k mine was less than you bought yours for brand new... And it out performs the s2k in every way.... i told you that i had no problem with S2000's i think they are badass cars too and i understand how you'd be biast in this post but man get real the only thing that the RX doesnt have that is better than the S2k is a convertible... my friend payed 13,000 for his RX-7 R2 and now he has dropped 14k in it and he c runs 10's so talk to me again when when an s2k runs 10's or even 11's.. I don't own an s2000...also compare apples to apples man. There aren't even s2000s old enough to compare prices to a supra or rx7 with so all you can compare is MSRP to MSRP...i'm sure in 8 years when the supra you have now is a dinosaur the s2000 will be available for $10 - $12,000....You also have to learn that life isn't about the 10 second 1/4 mi, just cause you run 10s doesn't mean you're having as much fun driving as the guy next to you with his convertible top down, his 9,000 rpm redline, and his silk smooth 6-speed transmission.(plus his car has 5,000 miles on it and it's BRAND NEW)...dunno about you but there's something about a brand new car that makes me feel warm inside when i get behind teh wheel and smell the fresh leather.
