Default S/C 00 vs LS Hatch

I met up with some locals last night and ran a car that I knew was supposed to be very "quick." It is a stripped down Boosted LS Hatch that I later found out ran 12.2.

Anyways, we went from a 35mph roll. Off the start we were dead even. This lasted for about .5seconds until his turbo spooled and then he shot away like I was in driving a bus. He pulled and pulled until I shut down at 105. We ran a 2nd time from 40 which was a little better for me but ended up with the same outcome. They video taped it so I'll post as soon as they send me the link. My car has 308rwhp.

Later that night, my clutch fried and I barely made it home.

Comptech S/C with Tech2 7lb pulley, 440cc injectors, ultimate emanage, straight pipe- 308rwhp. I'd say he beat me by at least 4 lengths.

I wouldn't let it bother me i mean if the other guys running a low 12 and you lost by 4 car lenghts your probably running a high 12 i be proud of that also you have to take into consideration the weight/hp ratio neverthess nice run

Hatches can already range from 2,000 to 2400 lbs depending on what model. I'd say it was probably VX or CX and weighed around 2080 like mine with full interior. Stripped down it's probably 1900ish. I wouldn't be upset about a loss like that.

I'm not upset at all. I want to get the video so I can post it on here. That is one fast car.

Any kind of mild work can make a hatch fast. Mild I mean, engine/turbo.. or just engine.

RSX-S or k20R into a hatch can put it down in the low 12's to high 11's on I/H/E and a Reflash.. traction can be an issue but can be solved as well. Hatch.. 2-3k.. Engine.. 7-8k installed..
