S vs. WRX
hahah thats awesome, ya i figured that 06-07 model was faster than the other models, that makes sense bc my ap1 is probably putting down about the same hp to the wheels
ill (attempt) to smoke him in a little bit though and ill let you know how it goes

Just get him before he goes Stage 2, 'cause after that, the game is really over. Even with a super-safe/rich OTS map, at Stage 2 he'll put 220-ish HP/270-ish TQ to the ground, and if he's smart he'll figure out that he can easily drop 150lbs from the car as well. This combo is seriously strong in a WRX if driven properly, as it's lighter than an STi, and geared better too.

I guess I'm not that smart. Can you tell me how I can drop 150lbs from my rex?
.Spare, jack and tools: 37.4
F&R bumper beams: 60.8
F. subframe: 24.3
Spare cover: 3.7
Windshield reservoir: 3.5
Floor mats: 5.5
After-market down-pipe: 15
Since you're in a WRX, an after-market wheel/tire combo will probably increase your weight by a little, so be careful with your selection, but I dropped 28 lbs from stock with my set-up.
Of course, I don't recommend you go driving the car around all the time without bumper beams, but they're really easy to remove, so if you're just shooting for a number at the track, the increased performance is worth the trouble. Weight mods alone dropped 2 tenths off of my 8th mile time, which is HUGE.
i have a friend with a gti vr6 that takes his back seats out when he wants to drop some weight, he says he loses like 200 pounds when he does that.. and for the record, he has an intake, exhaust and performance chip, and all that even with his back seats out

Its all about the 08 WRX's. Perrin stage 2 map with an intake puts out over 320 pounds of torque to all 4 wheels

320 TQ on what kinda Dyno?
