A stage III TT would smoke the doors out of a stock S2K...driver or no driver...lol

You're talking about a staged III TT versus a stock S? C'mon now, you don't see anything wrong there? Maybe it could cuz the S is STOCK??? Driver or no driver? So you go out and race parked cars? C'mon grow up and be reasonable here, that's like saying we both have stock S and you throw in a supercharger kit then tell me that you're gonna beat me. Duhhh??? Of course you're gonna beat me, you're supercharged and I'm still stock.

stock 300zx TT back in whatever year it was made was capable of low 5 to 60 (5.2), high 13s in the quarter so I hear, which gives it a slight advantage over most S drivers.

Only car I have experience with is a non turbo model, which was a boat.. a very slow boat.
most drivers get low 14s just like s2k

Yes, 170MPH can most definitely be done with minimal modifications (ECU, exhaust, downpipe, intake, etc), because the ECU includes boost jets that raise the boost, increasing the power output of the engine. 330-350RWHP is common with just these modifications at 15psi. I was arguing that a 100% completely stock 300ZX TT, with the limiter removed (no increase in boost), could not hit 170 (I believe the stock limiter is set at 153). My guess would be more along the lines of 160MPH (which is a big difference from 170MPH).

By the way, does anyone in the Saint Louis area with an S2K want to do some friendly runs (with my mostly stock Z)? Should be a close race.
mostly stock? your almost a stage II if not a stage II, intake and exhaust do wonder for turbos compared to n/a.
