Default S2000 can't go over 155mph

If any of you are bored, feel free to troll along with me. This guy thinks the S2000 can't go over 155, stock or not.

You need to find better ways to spend your free time.

But, tell the guy to come visit me (he is in Texas) and I'll show him 170 MPH.

I thought the s2000 top speed was 150 that's what Road & Track said. i don't have my manual yet, so I don't know. Honestly, i am not all that of a good driver to take the car to 170mph, more than that I don't have the balls to go that fast and get busted. So i really don't know.

I know it can go faster if it is NOT stock. I've seen it go faster.

most owner would send the limiter south for the winter the moment they bought the car anyway, so that's no longer is the question

the question is do you have enough power to go that fast ?

with FI S2k, certainly

Well I myself have done 159 and I have a completely stock S2000. Plenty of us have broken the "supposed" 150mph limiter that all the mags like to say we have. And wesmaster redlined 6th gear. If there waqs a rev limiter, it would stop wes's car too... supercharger or not. (when he had/has the stock ECU that is)

As far as I know...there is no speed limiter on the S2000. ITR doesn't have one...Prelude doesn't have one...and I'm sure Honda wouldn't put one on the S2000.
