Alright. I've read a lot of posts around with ya'll talking about how slow the SRT is, or an STi!!! SERIOUSLY!!! So, I went hunting, and here's what I found.

Ran into an S2K w/ Mugen heads, CF Intake, exhaust. I ran him from 30-40-60 each time running to about 120ish. Far past the parameters of a 1320ft. showdown. He was gone, each time. Now mind you when 100 came up he started to come back a little, but not by much. Then we launched... I'm thinking if the S2K had a little more torque you could do something, but nope, nothing to get it off the line. I ate him up like candy up to 100 when we shut. Now, what I'm saying is your car ISN'T invincible, what I'm saying is some of you-not all, have it in your heads that the S2K is Honda's gift to a performance automobile. That may be true, but my grocery getter handles its own.

FI at altitude against a car without FI is going to skew the results in comparison to a sea level run.

I'm not going to bother explaining ... again ... how the torque to the wheels for the S2000 is comparable to an E36M3 because well ... it just gets old. You are right, the S2000 is a torqueless wonder, gears do nothing, all S2000 owners should run out and buy VW's ....

the s2k is not 'honda's gift to performance automobile's'....that would be the NSX

Seriously though, no one ever said the S2k (or nsx for that) is a drag car. Run him where that car was designed to be run and he will make your jetta look like a tricycle.
