Very heavy, man! Way over 500lbs, wet. Not a track bike for sure, but very speedy.

It's also a Bi-turbo V12 so you do the math. That thing is a monster!

Dude, dont even bother to talk about stuff thats happening 2 years from now. Im going to have a twin turbo diablo in two years, for that matter. And its going to be my beater. At 55psi. Stock pistons and all.

You get my drift?

And I still dont see an 11 second S2000 keeping up with that car. Ben Treynors less powerful and heavier S600 was clicking off mid 11s with nothing more than an ECU and race gas. This is a bigger version of the same engine, with more boost, in a car thats slightly lighter. Forgetaboutit. You can bench race tube chassis civics all you want, but thats not the point of this comparison.

The Sl65 is 600hp and over 730 lb ft of torque.

For comparison.....an S600 rated at 493hp put 480 to the wheels.

So if the company has under rated this car the same way, then youre looking at a 750 hp car, with something like 900 ft lbs of torque. Tell me again how youre going to win?

Damn man, the point is, if you mod a car enough, it'll be faster than that SL65, There is no limit.

first double post ever here

in comparison
what do you get when you race a 400hp z06 to a ram srt-10

oh shit the ram is gonna win it has more hp

stupid jackasses like you think hp is everything did you take a look at weight?

every 100 pounds is suppose to cut off .1 seconds on a quarter miles
this

ram srt-10 runs 13.6 sec @ 105 mph on a quarter. 500 bhp @ 5600 rpm 525 lb-ft @ 4200 rpm

corvette z06 runs 12.5 sec @ 115 mph 405 bhp @ 6000 rpm 400 lb-ft @ 4800 rpm

know what the fcuk you're talking about before you start argusing about something you have no slight clue about

does your dumb ass even know the weight of a sl65 amg???

yeah 4299 lbs

let me just say i'll be putting 500hp to the wheels by two years. on a car that weighs 2800 ish pounds

Embarass myself?

Im not the one threatening to build an LS6/S2000 TWO years from now.

The argument about making anything faster than anything is silly here. The SL65 IS faster than any S2000, modded or not. Coulda woulda shoulda. You are bench racing a car you are planning to BUILD? Wtf is this, the cavalier forums? Lmao.

And I am aware of what weight does. And a TT V12 making over 700hp with a huge powerband in a 4200lb car with a well sorted suspension and a tranny that can hold it is going to do a lot of damage. Leave the unbuilt LS-S2000 out of this, you stupid ricer.

If I had a penny for every time some retard said they were going to do this and that...............I'd have built my OWN LS6 powered S2000 by now. lol.gif
