S2000 RAPED!

Nobody is saying that SL65 isn't a badass because hell yeah it is. For $180K, it's oughta be.
For that money, I'd buy something else though. But I just felt like correcting you when you said modding won't make a difference. There are different levels of modding. Hell yeah it will make a difference if the S is heavily modded, with turbo and all. My point was that modding WILL make a difference. That is all to my point.

See, thats where I dont agree. I honestly believe this car will run very low 11s, and quite possibly high 10s with a good set of tires and some good gas. The beauty of it being that its a slushbox, so it wont take all that much to get really good times out of it. Torque it slightly, watch for wheelspin and youre done.
Compare that to launching a high hp turbo s2000. Do the big power guys even launch their cars? I seem to recall............no. Not to mention that the high hp guys have to deal with lag, shifting, etc. Have you seen the tq curve on a twin turbo benz? Its pretty crazy.

i am not really breaking down right now but actually laughing at you at the moment if you knew what went on at the boards then you would know that where are a couple s2000's that ran 10's..

have you run your car in a quarter mile?
what time did you get?
now stick on a intake what time would you get? probably .1-.3 off right or am i wrong?you're only adding what 10 hp at the most?
now say you're gonna put 400 more hp into your engine.
now mutiply the .1 by 40
that is about 4-5 seconds right? well if you can't do the math here it is .1*40= 4
and you can run .2 faster with cai and you can run .0 faster right?
well so you've added 400 hp to your engine... that is a proven statement. so 4+ seconds you're gonna cut off... 5 at the most... so even if you 15.5 then you would get times of 11.5-10.5
am i wrong anyone... and you really can't do this "rice" calculating cause i don't have every kind of car to prove this.
