I hate to say it but they were prob not racing you. A stock S really doesn't stand a chance against any of those cars in the SRT trim.

My pops owns a srt8 charger and cousin srt challenger. So not sure why you think that. It's from a roll. Anyways not to get off topic of the OPs car is 500 hp I don't see any issue. 3-4% drivetrain loss seems impossible though

Yes the crank hp is around 600-605. I was wrongly informed on how to get crank hp from whp but I understand now lol. Sorry for the retardation everyone.

What transmission setup are you running? Haven't seen many with built stock trans.

Any opinions on that? I feel like I can dust him no problemo but I wanted to see your opinions before I go making a fool of myself.
Further more, can my S2000 beat stock vettes?
Your horsepower: 530.
Your curb weight: 2800 lbs.

His horsepower: 470.
His curb weight: 3800-4000 lbs.

You've got 60 horsepower on him with a thousand less pounds to push. Simple math, right?

He'll have more torque down low, so he may get an early jump. He has an automatic transmission with traction control, so he isn't going to spin the tires. You didn't specify which year your S is, the stock ECU didn't add traction control until 2006.

If you lose, the line is "at least my car won't fall apart 4 years from now". Honorable mention for "you spent $45 grand on a Chrysler?".

+1 for the questions above, did you build this car or buy it already built?

Good rule of thumb is just to take wheel HP and multiply by 1.15 to get crank HP.
