Default s2000 vs 335i

So i had raced a 335 last year, it was a freeway run, 2 gear. i had about a car and a half on him till we hit 80, then he pulled on me and i just kept falling behind. Then recently one of my other friends bought a white 2011 m tech 335i, we raced off launch 0 - 70, we race 3 times every time i pulled 3 cars on him. I thought i would post this up and remind fellow s2k owners that (my car that i had purchased for a little less than 10k), a s2000 had pulled great lengths on a 58k car. lol the s2000 surprises me everyday.

The s2000 def. surprises me but I think stock for stock the 335i will win hands down. They must have been bad drivers and you are really good, or some variation of that. I did beat a 335xi when she got the jump. I could def. see a bolt on/tuned S2k taking a 335i, but if the 335 owner decides to do any type of mods...Well its came over until we get FI lol

Good kill. Yeah stock for stock the 335i is quite a bit faster but not the driver in this case. As they say anything can happen on the street.

bad driver in the 335 if it was a manual, if not then he/she wasnt racing you.

as far as mods im stock, the 335i was stock, and driver was a fairly new stick driver, we will race soon and ill update this again ive sat in the car with him and he has got his launching down better, but yea stock for stock his car is faster, but even when i drove his car, i liked mine more, im not just saying that because i dont have a 335 but because the s2k just feels more like a sports car, maybe its just me but his car is too soft of a ride. when im driving i like the fact that i can feel the road.

Posting Vids is the only way I might be convinced. I understand the "any given sunday" aspect of racing, but the difference in power given a that the bimmer driver gets better puts you at a disadvantage each day.

Completely different cars. 335 is really not a sports car. More of a "sporty" car. S2k is a sports car.
