Default S2000 vs 93 RX-7 in a week

Hey Guys,

We are both stock and was wondering if I should go him for a dead stop or from a roll?

Thanks,

That would be a great race. It would come down to the driver for this one if both cars are running perfect.

I have a friend with an S with an exhaust and another that just bought a ?? yellow 7 R1 or R2? that raced last night. The S won barely from what I was told.

Let us know what happens.

That will be a really good race if his car is a 5-speed. It will definately be a drivers race. The autos are a bit slower and won't give you as good of a run. Run from a stop. Running from a roll was invented by the Supra guys.

He's a friend of mine, his 93 TT RX-7 is stick (I thought they only came in stick) and it's in mint condition. For the past week or so, we've been cruising around the city. Just 2 days ago, I finally hit 1000 km's on the car so I can hit Vtec so I wasn't able to run him before. I will definetely post pics of both our cars and am hoping to have a video. Anyone else have opinions as to wether I should run him from a stop or roll??? Whatever provides me with the advantage

Thanks,

Run him from a roll!

You can easily lighten your car by 175 lbs and keep it streetable and nice for dates, at this weight with Denso plugs and a CAI you will be hard to beat.

Do both..from a roll and a stop... but I have to tell you I got my money on the 7. You will stand a better chance from a stop...

im goin the 7 sadly for now just because u said u havnt been able to vtec well sense u havnt been able to vtec u havnt been able to launch so u havent learned well enough to launch the car properly. (just guessing) but u will need to be the better driver to beat him and taking out your spare and tools and lightening your car would help too. so would i/h/e
