[QUOTE=nastinupe1,Dec 20 2006, 09:58 AM] His car was fast, but for a $160,000 Ford, I would have expected more.

Overall, I think that the S2000 did exceptionally well.

I have to agree that the Ford GT (not a GT40) wasn't trying. I also have a SC and I still say the GT wasn't trying.

low 11 sec? I thought low 12 vs. high 12

Ford GT - 12.2@121.6mph
Whoever traps 121 in a stock GT can't drag race. Stock C6 Z06 can trap in the 125s and the GTs are faster.

As a couple have already mentioned the GT is good for low 11's and trap speeds in the 130mph range which means with some slicks it's a 10 second car in pretty much stock form. I could beat down your blown S2000 in a Ford GT while eating a cheeseburger and drinking a milkshake. I'm guessing he was probably chuckling at you wondering what the hell you were thinking.

Is the blonde babe in your passanger seat taking care of any business while you are somewhat incapacitated racing while eating a cheeseburger, sucking down a shake, and steering the vehicle with you knees?

To the guy talking about the Ford Gt being faster than the C6 Z06. Most of the magazines and what not have the C6 running faster than the Gt. This would also make great sense sense the HP difference is only like 45 or something and the GT weighs 300 pds more than the vette. Anyways, I was wondering if the guy who was driving the supercharged car was running the reg psi 5-7 or did he have a pully on it?
