I was driving my MY04 SC'ed S2000 in ATL on 400 south around exit 7 when a orange Ford GT40 comes flying up. I was well aware that the car had about a 230 hp advantage on me, however, it's not every day that you see an exotic driving like they wanna race someone and driving like a bat out of hell to prove it.

So I did what any red blooded S2000 owner would do. I down shifted and got behind him. The second I got behind him I noticed that he had a passenger in the car with him and they didn't look too light. Yesssss I thought. An extra 250 lbs goes to him. My car was totally empty and I had less than 1/4 tank of gas and my engine and tires were already warm. I decided that I would try and take him and see what he does.

So got into the lane next to him and down shifted into 3rd and took it all the way up the red line. He immediately down shifted (I'm guessing) and darted out and retook the lead. After that, we played follow the leader through traffic for about a mile. He started to pull on me once we got into a straight away, but not like I would have imagined. His car was fast, but for a $160,000 Ford, I would have expected more.

Overall, I think that the S2000 did exceptionally well. Our car is grossly underrated.

lol, if he didn't pull on you like you would have imagined, he wasn't trying as hard as you think he was. Passenger or not ( ) you've got NO chance.
