When I had finished my lunch and driving back home, I saw a skyline GT-T and a silver Porsche GT3 is in front of me about 15 cars length. At that time they are not at racing speed so I floor my gas and catch up with the GT3. The GT3 driver may hear my 9000rpm engine and started to rev up and go. The skyline chicken out and fade out in my mirror.
As there is some traffic around and we are chasing on a highway which is a long bridge over the side of the sea. We had to rapidly changing lanes to avoid the traffic. Amazingly I can keep up with that Porsche with every move following his move with no loss in distance between he and me. We got up to about 100mph and the traffic is finally thick enough that there is no safe way to chase him anymore and the offramp that I need to go is near. Then I called off the chase and get back home.
The S2000 is so nimble that it's corning ability and stability is almost the same as the GT3. I am so happy that I can keep up with it and I think that Porsche driver would be pissed that our little S2000 can match up his GT3 in cornering.
Don't flame me for the race as I only use about 90% of my car handling ability with some reserve for emergency.

encounters that I had with a Diablo, subaru WRX STI or Ferrari 360. Because they are all playing with my beloved S2000.
For all the lesser cars encounters, there is also no need to post. They should be beaten up by our S2000.
The power of the car is important in winning races but the driver who don't drives hard enough or good enough to release the full potential of their cars will get beaten.
That's the fun part or challange to race a more powerful car.
Ofcourse I know with same driving skills, there is no way a S2000 can keep up with a GT3.

I think a driver with very limited skill, driving a GT3 would still kick the crap out of M. Schumacher in an S2000. To say that a drivers skill could compensate the vast performance difference between an S2000 and a GT3 is like saying a skilled pilot in Cessna could beat a lesser pilot in an SR-71. Not happening.

Wait a minute....I see Willie's point here. It's not just about the car, it's also about the willingness of the driver to extract what it takes out of the car that he is driving. I agree the GT-3 would, given completely equal circumstances, walk the S2000 at speed, in a parking lot, in reverse, really anywhere. But that's just it, there would have to drivers of equal ability and desire to judge the situation. That

Then again...it may not have been a GT3 at all. With all the fiberglass knock off's in Hong Kong, it might have been an earlier 911 with a widebody kit to make it appear a GT3.
There are some pretty good conversions out there - I've seen them! So, maybe the driver was giving it the business and that it didn't have the guts of a GT3 because it wasn't one?
Then again, with all the money in Hong Kong, it COULD have been a real GT3!!
