performance mods are..
s2000- AEM v1 CAI. gutted trunk
integra- its a 94 RS with type r swap (jdm) and exhaust.
rsx- all stock

We at first did a roll at 35 mph, i was in second. Rsx honked 3 times and we took off, we stay dead even till i shift to 3rd and then the rsx starts to fall back but the integra is still keeping up till with me slighty pulling away the whole time. I pulled about 1 car by 100. Then we did from a dig, the rsx honked 3 times again but i had the worst launch ever, i didnt expect the rsx to honk that quickly and i just reved it up to 5 and launched. The rsx and integra pulled ahead about a car but i quickly reeled in the RSX and was reeling in the integra slowly but we shut down at around 100 again when i was at his front wheel. It was a close race, we are probally going at it again soon. Ill be sure to have the video camera next time.

Cliff Notes : S2000 wins first race, loses to the integra second race cause of shitty launch.

Nice...Are the new 06' RSX's any faster then the previous 05' or 04' models?? I seen a video somewhere of a crappy driven S2000 getting beat by an 06' RSX with just CAI, and a RH!! I mean I heard the shifting of the S2 and it was pretty bad, but still..Intake and only a header! Any info on the new 06's

 

The 05-06 RSX-S were a bit faster than the 02-04 models thanks to Type-R components added to the engine.

Hmmm... that sucks you had a bad launch. It truly should have been your time to shine. You could have easily put 2-3 cars on them early on with a proper launch.

FWD is teh suck for launching.

 

06 RSXS are little beasts!

 

I have one... fairly bolted on and I think it's decently fast. I certainly do like the S2000 more but the drive in the RSX is a lot more fun when it comes to the powerband. The powerband on the RSX with my mods is just so abrupt. It's like having a "turbo" so to speak.

 

stock for stock i think the only other honda that cracks vtec as hard as the s2 is probably the DC2R. mine hardly "hits" vtec as i am AFR tuned and thus have a smoother powerband, but i assure you my power band is much more fun than yours!

 

I just boguht an s2000 and I love it.

But it's a challenge to read these type of posts. Mna our cars are slow.

I came from a fully modded mr2 turbo, and i wouldn't even race integras or rsx's. Well i would, but I wouldn't brag about it. LOL


But overall the s2000 I love it. But more for the style and reliablilty. The mr2 murderred it in speed and performance.

But I guess that will all change with I put the gears and supercharger on.
