With a passenger in the older NSX, its going to be close.. I guess its a drivers race, except when it comes to automatics..

Who knows, it could have even been an automatic... I don't know why somebody would buy an automatic, but believe me, they are out there...

With a good driver and bolt-ons, our cars should go low 13s so I would expect it to be pretty close...

Nice run. I just never understood why people love the NSX so much. No offence but for the price, i could find plenty of other cars I would be way happier with and would be way faster.
I feel the exact opposite I think its hard to find as rare and beautiful car for the money as a NSX. A new model style 2002 can be had for 55-60K used and IMO looks 10000% better then any porsche, vette, or other car in that range. Also it handles great, fast enough and its an acura/honda so the repair records are top notch.... I know everyone has different views but an NSX IMO is one of the most beautiful designed cars that can be had for near 55K range. (I like the 2002 and up style bst with the expsosed head lamps and not the ops ups etc)

I know a new vette z06 will have it for lunch performance wise and I love the vettes as well, amazing Vehicles but for some reason just have always loved the NSX's!

the NSX and S2000 are simliar in certain aspects.

why would anyone buy a small roadster, with only 240hp no low end, no navi, hell no power door looks for 30k. in tangibles, and if you own one you can answer all those question in the blink of an eye. go drive one.

same goes for an NSX. 90k?! for 290bhp, v6, high 12's at best! what. you could buy 4 used C5 vettes for that kinda coin, or 100 other cars. why is the NSX so loved, intangibles. go drive one, and you'll know.

its more exaggerated in the NSXs case, but still its the intangibles that make the car, its "soul."

maybe im nuts, but thats what i think about when i think NSX. ive driven a few, and its almost hard to explain.

Between the NSX and the C6-Z06 is a very hard choice but I will the look toward the Z06. I hate myself for not picking the NSX because I alway think the car are very unique.

I just cringe every time I see threads like this. I mean, a roll race between sports-cars?

The NSX is a world-class sports car, and in its element, the seemingly "underpowered" liveable exotic quickly shows its true colors. In other words; if you haven't driven one on a road-course, shut your pie-hole before you sound eve more like an idiot.
