Yes, you can definitely beat one stock. I raced one 3 times a couple weeks ago. He had an exhaust and thats it. Man this guy was talkin so much shit about how he can beat my car. I raced 3 times and 1st time I won by about 3cars, second race I won by about 1 car, and the last race I won by about 3 cars again. You'll beat them, just gotta drive the car right.

 

it'a a driver's race. both cars are capable of high 13's stock.

 

 

just hope he doesnt spend 80 bucks on mods and youll be ok

 

i am speaking in generalizations now:

at my local drag strip my stock s ran 13.97@100.8. three other srt-4's ran 14.7,15.0,14.4. 97% of srt owners cannot drive. the street encounters i have had all end with me pulling 2-3 cars on a stock or near(exhaust) srt. the "kids" that own these cars are of the run it to redline and dump the clutch style of driving.

so that being said, if you a race a "kid" in a srt-4 you will win, if you can drive half decent. its its "adult" driven be on your mark and drive well because it will truly be a drivers race.

now before the flaming comes, my comments are GENERALIZATIONS. not always the case. i am sure there are plenty of young guys the can drive the hell outta the srt's and kudos to them because like it or not the srt to is very impressive car.

so that being said have fun and never underestimate a srt, they are fast.

 

its a complete drivers race. ive beaten some and lost to some. very quick cars. and like fshwcrs said. just hope he doesnt spend 80$'s on mods.

what can the SRT4 get for 80 bucks that makes it substantially faster?

(keeping in mind, an S2000 can keep up and pull on the top end of an SRT4 with the "stage 0" psi to redline mod)

 

80 bucks worth of race gas?
