I ran an SRT4 last night. It was definitely modded because his turbo was loud as shit. I couldn't even hear his engine. I've never seen one that I admired the looks of until last night. His was very well done. For starters, he removed that ugly wing and had it lowered with some nice wheels.

Anyway, we did 3 runs.

The first run was about 65-100 in which I was ahead about 1 car length before we shut down for traffic.
The second run was about 65-100 again and we ended up being dead even. Stopped for traffic again.
The third run we ran from 55ish-115 and he pulled pretty hard. He had about 2 car lengths on me by the time we hit 115.

I don't know what was done to his car but something definitely was done. He also had a passenger! Dat turbo was sooo loud. Sounded so good.

 

That's weird, they did some tracking to see the difference between top down and up and outta all convertibles they tested the S2K was the only one faster with the top down...

 

who is "they"? what test was this?

 

I think it may have been a best motoring test on tsukuba? It was pretty low speed driving.

 

depending on how much the SRT-4 is modded, it'll be either a hit or a miss. My friend used to have a stage3 and he would jog me everytime.

 

2 of my close friends have 2 skittles. There turbos seem naturally loud IMO. I think the you raced was close stock if not just bolt ons. I raced a stage 2 that shot flames and there was no question...he spanked me lol keep in mind I was stock when a raced him. And now I'm turboed

 

Ah it could have been. Yeah it was a trip. All I could hear was the loud ass turbo. I'm not sure what he had done. It looked surprisingly nice though. I've never seen one that looked decent before.

 

Bone stock SRT-4 vs bone stock S2000 is somewhat of a drivers race. Owned both.

Of course the S2000 is a billion times better looking

 

TOUCHE! if i missed a gear he would pull on me and visa versa!
