Uhhh it takes a well driven z28 to get those times as well..

A modded z28 should definitly beat a stock S2000 nobody is questioning that but you stated something must be wrong with his car..
As if Aunt May could beat a s2000 in a modded z28..

As for your debate.. You contend that jdmr2 is wrong despite giving any counter-argument.. That is why you got the big L.

Absolutely wrong you are for it is typical and is to be expected to run those times in a LT1 f-body if the car is in good condition BONE STOCK.

He clearly states "Both of us know how to drive so there was no excuse of one of us not driving properly."...that Z28 should be an easy 13.5@103 MPH car and that is more than enough to spank a well driven S2000 running 14.0's...assumming that both drivers can drive...then that leaves "there MUST be something wrong with the car"....

Sounds about right to me. Nice runs. Good for a stock S. Are people getting the SS and the Z28 confused. Most SS cars run 13.5. Rated at 13.8 by most mags and with some seing 13.5 and if lucky a 13.2. I am not talking R&D and C&D mags because they just suck. I am talking chevy's main line and Ford's main line mags with competant drivers. So the Z28 hangs with the SS. NOT.

I have had friends that had LT1 SS's...and typically they ran so close to normal Z28's, that I still swear other than rims, it was a badging marketing campaign. LS1's on the other hand are a different story.

Some people get the ultra rare SS f-bods with LT4s mixed with the SS with LT1's. Those LT4's were a whole different animal.

honestly s2000's can pull very well on the highway......I do know that my buddy has pulled quite a few cars on the highway....

YO ! I Had a run-in with one of those z28's, do not know what year, what engine.. alli know is that it is one of those pointy camaro's.. it was red, with a red/black z28 badge on the back.. it looked/sounded like it had exhaust, and what not. anyays, it was on the way home from vegas, that big-ass straight away.. i had to play catch up, he pulled next to me, smiled, then gunned it.. it sounded pretty mean.. then i dropped into third, redlined, fourth, i caught him in fourth gear, in vtec, around 7900-8100,then slowly , i mean gradually pulling away.. through 5th..i shut down at 133mph.. i put like 2-3 cars on him.. i was kind of impressed, i always thought those things were super heavy/not so fast... but that one made me think otherwise.. i guess they are alright..
my mods are: AEM CAI/APEX N1 CAT-BACK/DC SS HEADER/SPOON THERMOSTAT/THROTTLE BODY/EARTHING GROUND SYSTEM/TANABE SUSPENSION PIECES/ROTA SLIPSTREAMS/FALKEN AZENIS.. I also had my girl in the car, and a few bags worth of clothes in the back.. but yeah.. still got him tho-
