Default S2k vs B16 Hatchback Honda

This was a Brand new Stock S2k (really nice guy) and raced my friend's Civic Hatch with b16 motor and DC headers (not built)
Just wanna say, the S2k killed it with the top down and another person riding in it by about 3-4 car lengths. S2k launched at 7000

B16A1 or A2? with a normal B16A swap, a Civic will manage high 14ET with a decent driver.

He has A2, second gen. But I think his transmission is all messed up.

first time they both raced, the b16 kept up cuz the S2k didn't have that great of a launch, then the b16 missed 3rd gear cuz of his messed up transmission.

on the second race, they both got really good launches and the s2k just took it by about 3 car lengths in about a 1/4 race. 3 car lengths is what my friend in the b16 told me cuz obvioulsy I couldn't see from a 1/4 mile away.

My friend just got his b16 swap so I'm guess he isn't used to it much. I'm guessin he can do 1/4 at 15 flat right now and I think the s2k guy did about low 14's cuz although he just got the car, he seemed like he knew what he was doing.

Definately, B18 is the way too go. The prcing on that is not cheap, and labor wil be more also. With B18C, he'll do around mid 14 or better, STOCK.

Yes! Good for drag-racing. It'll put more weights in the front. Require cuttings, and the motor is around 3inches from the wall. Want a H22A? I have 2 in stock .
