Read up, I posted a link to a stock 12.8 run. It was not a singular event.

You lost to a near stock 350Z -- but you can take M5's. Seriously,
the Z were not nearly stock they had a minimum of cold air , plenum and spacers, y-pipe, under drive pulleys, and headers and cat backs. one of them has on video beating 8 of 10 e46 m3 he has run into and they are damn close to m5s. dave beat the Zs from the dig and to a 140mph

I would have to agree with stevec on this one. The M5 is capable of high 12S all day long. Look at the trap speed in all of the magazine tests. The car consistently runs 107-109 MPH which is good for 12s. An S2000 has never trapped above 101 and has trapped as low as 97-98 MPH. That's a HUGE difference especially on a roll.

On another note when I had a Comptech S/C, header, lightened flywheel and exhaust on my 2.2 S2K I raced my freind's M5 from 70-110 MPH and it was not pretty. He walked me by about 3-4 cars. I started in 4th so my car was in VTEC. His car had a DINAN Intake and exhaust. Stock against stock it would have been uglier.

Christ, HOW is this crap still HAPPENING!

Faysal, to answer your question, no, what happened was NOT normal. You got lucky against a car that would normally tear a stock s2000 a new one.

Lmao. Factory magic. 275hp. Crank hp vs wheel hp.

/Dead.

I've only ran two M5s. One was when my SS was stock. We ran from 40-150 getting on the freeway. He started about 2 cars behind and I mashed it around 40 mph.... he followed suit. At around 80 he moved over as if to pass me, but around 110 realized he was not pulling and moved back behind me...... He was on my azz all the way up to 150 where we backed off.... I wasn't pulling away, and as far as I could tell he wasn't gaining.

At that time my car ran consistent 107 traps....

Sorry, I don't care what kind of math you come up with, a stock M5 is going to pounce on a stock/lightly modded S2000 in a straight line...... no contest.

Getting back to Faysal's question. and putting aside the ing personal arguments that go on on this forum that are so damn annoying -

I had an M5 up my arse to get by the other day - not much room to manoeuvre so I stayed at around 80 (km/h). An opening arrived and he booted it into the next lane - I anticipated this and was just below VTEC and floored it as well - I was suprised how fast he was pulling away - I slowed down at about 120 where as he continued to weave in and out of traffic like a moron.

Didn't look or sound modded so - there you go, from personal experience those cars will bend you over, pull your pants down and...

PS. Is this what you would call a corner post - for all you whores out there!

I got to drive a modded e39 M5 (i,e, chip) and that thing pulled hard on the freeway. Only F/Ied S2K's can hang with those cars.

M5's are fast mf'ers and will hand a stock s2000 its ass from a roll or a dig given equal drivers. If you disagree with that you are living in fantasy land.

Let me see if I got this clear. Those 350 Zs with a few bolt ons are running over E46 M3s and your friend beats the 350 Z so that equals that Im and .

I had this dude once claiming he beat an E46 with his convertible Z but when I pointed to him and the driver of the E46 that there was something wrong with the M3 it was so. The M3 had some major issues with the ECU and I followed up by proving to the Z that he couldn't even take me.

M5 will not beat an S2000, it will rape it like a whore on 8th st. Please guys get off the grass, it kills.

I agree with Steve C, they make it to the 12s stock.
