There I was chillin with my buddie...top down crusing along at 70. Next thing I know there is this red motorcycle next to us(Yamaha 600 something)...He looked over and give me a nod and it was on! I dropped it to third and we were off, third gear to the limiter into 4th up to 9000rpms then I let off. I was ahead by about two car lengths. We did this (70 to 120 a few more times and I pulled him almost every time it was awesome) Had to pull over and smoke a cig

Damn this car rocks

Sure does, but that bike rider was either incompetent, had a major engine problem, or was just playing with you. No way an S2000 is faster than a bike, unless it's one of those feet-forward kind. My VFR800 has the same top speed as the S2000 and reaches it MUCH faster...

That guy probably did not know how to control his bike when accelerating and therefore was probably taking it easy. Any decent sport bike would cream an S2K in acceleration.

I think the guy was nervous. 100+mph on a bike is a very scary thing.

He was listening to the sweet sound of 9000 rpms from the best seat in the house!

Being the owner of both a stook and a Yamaha 600 something, I'd expect the only way for the car to beat the bike would be if the bike stayed in 6th gear...

I just have each version, when the redesigned one comes out, I will have that one as well.

The bike rider obviously was still operating in pedal mode . Seriously, you ain't gonna beat a bike that is trying.
