long time reader 1st time poster lol.
well i raced my good buddys rsx today. well this morning i guess 1am .hes had his car for about 5months and we finally got to run.

aem intake/test pipe/4.57s/hondata IM gasket (got all that stuff tuesday, installed wednesday )

from a stop-
well its a very cool night so pretty good racing weather. we lined up i reved up to just abit over 6k. launched and once i felt the tires grip floored it. once i was half way through 2nd i was about a car ahead. by the end of 4th i was 2 1/2 cars ahead.
raced again and ended about the same.

from a roll -
we both lined up at 20mph. gave the 3 honks and took off. went all the way to 110 and let off. was about a car and a half ahead. then went from a 50mph roll to 130. i kept pulling all the way. when i got to 130 he was way back. we stoped to chat a bit and told me that once i got like 3 lengths on him he let off. i didint notice.

well im pleased about the outcome. i expected it to be closer though. he does have crappy tires though. and i feel i could have driven better.

so what yall think ?

once he gets his coil overs hes going to get a better header(has a dc dented to shit). and type r cams to hold him over till he gets todas i think. by the time he gets that i should have
a tuned greddy e manage ultimate. and 70mm exhaust .

 

also forgot to add that my rear tires are in need of replacing.

i dont know i felt like it could have been alittle closer but o well, lol. i won.
